Rumar has it. New track being built.

Rumor has it here in Salina they are going to build a 1/4 banked dirt track to run midgets, micro sprints, and mini mods. They are looking to build at the old racetrack.Has anybody else heard this? Like I s said " it iis a rumor". If there was a track built would it be part of the Jayhuskers tracks? I don't know if there is enough cars to go around. I guess the payout and car counts would be a big deal then.

Highly doubtful. Kelly Dunn has leased the track apparently for a few weekends of testing for his Late Model and friends, supposedly they are in negotiations to re-open the track with Chuck but don't know much more than hear say. I do know if Kelly purchased/leased it it would probably stay the same configuration as he'd want to run Late Models.
