June 28 Race?

Just wondering why you would schedule a race in the middle of harvest!!!!!!!
Hope all 2 of the fans in the stands have a fun night of racing!!!!!!!!

I was on the board last year and have been a part of Jayhuskers for a very long time. Typically, there are races scheduled at harvest time. Living in the midwest, everyone knows that harvest can start early or run late. It is impossible to schedule around every possible scenario out there. The schedule is set during a meeting between the board members and the track reps, so the reps choose the dates they prefer; no one forces them. All we can do for any race day is hope for a good turn out; which yes, during harvest time we usually do lose a few drivers and some fans but for the most part it usually turns out well.
