As per the e-mail I got from Brian I have posted the information on the main page. It appears to be per car count. Here is what he sent me so you will not have to go back to see that main page. . .
The 600's are invited to run @ Beloit on the 3rd of May.The 600's will be a supporting class to the 305 sprint cars. This is a non-points race just racing for a payout determined by car count.

We discussed in our meeting that there will be a minimum payout of $70 per car distributed to the Jayhusker class rep. If we have a good turnout in the stands and some sponsorships come through we will pay more. As we get closer I will let you know if the payout increases as of right now this is all we can promise.

Probably a dumb question, but is this a WING race?

Winged show means we will be running the top wings and nose wing instead of being wingless.

The show with the 305's on May 3rd will be a WINGED show. Top wings and front wings will be permitted.

Top wings and nose wings are permitted but not required. If don't want to run a wing thats fine, if you only want to run a top wing thats fine, if you only want to run a nose wing thats fine, weird but fine.

Hey Bud,
No question is ever a dumb question. However you can receive a dumb response. I think that is what happened here. There was no place on this website where it states that the Beloit race would be a winged race. However, thanks to the insightfulness of a genious we are now aware that a winged race does entail having wings on the car. Brilliant. I usually would not make comments like this, but having witnessed some responses by a certain someone that seems like he is always trying to start an argument with potential members I felt something had to be posted. I hope you find this as humerous as I do.
Thanks :)
Brandon

If the last post was pointed my way I wasn't trying to offend anyone. This was an excellent question I just wanted everyone to know that if they don't want to run a wing they don't have to. Someone commented that if they don't have a nose wing they might not be allowed to run. We will not require any type of wing to be ran but will allow both top and nose wings at this show. The nose wing comment was my sorry attempt at humor. Hope to see you all there.

Nope it wasn't. I would like to thank you for actually answering Tony's question. I would also like to thank Dave for Posting your reply on the Home page so everybody can see it when they first log on. 3 weeks and counting can't wait to see everyone at playday.

Good question what time is the race at Beloit on May 3rd & how does the track compare size wise to our other tracks? Thanks.

The race will start at 7:00. All of the Jayhusker shows will start at 7:00. Beloit has a noise ordinance that is in effect at 10:30pm so we moved the start times ahead a little bit to ensure we don't run too late. Our track is a true 1/4 mile around the center. From what I've heard from most everyone its about 1 tooth faster on the back than Concordia. The corners are wider but banking is less.
