daytona tachometer help please please

Hey everyone looking forward to seeing you all at washington and maybe we'll finally get to race.
Have a problem that hopefully one or some of you would be willing to help me with.
I have a daytona digital tachometer that hooks into the coil wire. It was working the race before last and now it won't read only 000. I'm set at 2 cyc and 1 cyl. is that right? have changed it to 4 cyc and 1, 2, 3, or 4 cyl and nothing still happens
have put a test light on the ignition coil and both are showing fire while running
checked ground, and have the memory wire hooked up to power also.

i think cliford engines sell those. try calling him or any eng builder,they will mostly likely all try to help you. i alway run a tell tac2. so i can not help.

thanks brian I was wonderin bout that i bought mine online and wasn't sure if they sold these as I like to support who supports us.

If it reads 000 the settings don't matter, the signal wire is either not making connection or it is on the wrong side of the coil wires . The wire needs to be soldered in place, no scotch locks.... And as long as the tach has power and ground it should work. If all this is ok then the tach is bad.

thanks dirt lover will do some checks on the coil. It is hooked in the top of one of the coils1 and 4 i think If im correct the bottom is the power to the coil and top(closest to the coil wires) is the pulse connections correct? and the wire from the tach needs to be coming from the pulse wire right?
