Finalized monday night, the jayhusker 600s will be running Sunday June 15th at Belleville and also July 20. Mark your calendars. The June 15th is with the NCRA 360s pit passes will be 25 and purse is 1200. July 20th is with the World of Outlaw Late Models. I think pit passes were 35 last year and the purse will be 1500 for the July show. Hope to see a lot of cars

Come on guys!!
I don't know why this is such a problem understanding unless some people don't care. Again if we go there and pay the $25 p/p if we each have a extra person with us we are basically paying our own purse. At the late model race at $35 p/p we are definately on the losing end. Don't forget that most of the time I bet we average about 3 or 4 people per car. It the track makes tens of thousands of dollars why can't we ask for more than part of our pit pass money back. If you do $500.00 more that would help a little more but why do we insist on making the rich richer.
As far as the "it is more for fun than the money" crap give me a break the poll that asked how fuel prices was going to affect your season showed the highest was it would limit the amount of races you would go to. What's the deal with that then?? I drive about 4 times the milage and go to more races than most of the racers around here.
If this was a jayhusker race it wouldn't mind it as bad since some money would go tward the club but it is going into the full pockets of the people who put on big money shows.
I would like to know the exact purse given out a couple years ago when they had some hornet type race cars fill in and paid $350 to win and double our purse at least.
just my opinion and probably many others that don't want to say so.
See everyone tonight at beloit

I could seriously care less about the amount of the payout for these nights. I race for the fun and the competition and to go fast without getting arrested. I will try and be there if I can get my car put back together by then, and racing in between the big cars is an added bonus as far as I'm concerned, the sprints on the half-mile should be quite a show! I would just like to know when the races will start, and whether or not we will be running wings or not. If I was worried about the potential money I could win, I probably wouldn't be racing at all.

I race the #27E car. I was the one who hit the wall at Concordia during heat race #3. This is my first time in midgets, but I raced flattrack motorcycles for several years. We didn't realize how stiff our shocks were valved, and are just now getting that stuff figured out. I live in Waverly, KS, about 45mi. South of Topeka.

The race at Belleville will be non points. I feel we should run the wings since it is so far from the track to the stands. Pit opens 4:30, hot laps 6:30, racing at 7:30. Hope to see you there!!

Wings are needed at Belleville just so you can see the cars!! is right!!
At this point we will see you folks on Saturday for the non-wing show in Fairbury, as long as the weather cooperates.
